Well, thank you Alan, we’ll have to learn to sing. Anyway back to today. 6 of us out for a shortish none stopper, Moira, Bev, Kev, Roger, Leigh and Me. Not much to report, wind was on the strong side, but the sunshine 🌞 was beautiful. Anyway, no points were awarded that has finished for the time being. We also decided to stop the Club Runs until the situation improves, and do our own thing. So let’s all try and keep fit, and hope the Coronavirus doesn’t last too long. 🚲

Well, these are strange days, I presume you’ve all heard what Boris has said. Anyway, no point having a destination, with all the cafes closed. So it will have to be a none stopper. I intend to be a Tardebigge 10 o’clock and will be riding into the wind, so as to be blown back home. Only come out if you are sure you want to, I think it best to stop the points for the time being. So if you do come out, I advise that you bring a full Drinking Bottle, and something to eat. 10 o’clock Tardebigge. 🚴‍♀️🤞🚴🏽

As you know I am in the vulnerable group of people, in their 70s with an underlying health problem. I don’t however feel that I shouldn’t go out cycling in a SMALL group, I am more concerned about the cafe stop. Having said that, I worry more about going round the supermarket, close to a lot of people that I don’t know. So, weather permitting, I will be organising a club run for this Sunday. Whether or not we stop at a cafe, we can decide on the day, and I want some discussion on what we should do in the future. I’m sure that things will get worse before they get better, and we will have to cut down shortly. So please put a post on here, and tell us what you think. 🚲

Looks like it is going to rain all day Sunday, in which case I will not be out. However, if I am wrong I suggest we do a loop round and go to Broad Acres. 10 o’clock, Tardebigge, 🚴‍♀️🤞🚴🏽🤷‍♂️

The weather was warmer today, I even got a sweat on for a while. Anyway, four started from Tardebigge, Moira, Gordon, Mick, and Me. Rain came down for a short time, but nothing to worry about. Mick was out in front when Moira had a puncture, and we didn’t see him again. Gordon turned off a little later, had to be back early. So then Moira and I carried on to Bewdley where we met Chris P. Tess, and Roger, in the railway carriage, which is a temporary home for the cafe. This railway carriage is nothing like the one over Stratford way that we have been to in the past, this one is really nice, must have been renovated, and it was warm, so we where reluctant to get back out on the bikes, but eventually we had to. Rode home more or less with the wind, and the sun 🌞 was shining. 🚲

The Severn Valley Railway Station at Bewdley, haven’t been there before, fingers crossed 🤞. 10 o’clock, Tardebigge. 🚴🏽🚴‍♀️

Well, the weather was better and it was windy. Thought I’d got away with it, but two miles from home, we went through a hail storm. Oh well, the joys of cycling. Anyway, up at Tardebigge, Leigh had come up to see us, in the car, he is looking well after his health problems, nice to see you Leigh. So then, Bev, Kev, Gordon and me started off towards Pershore, picking up Tony on the way. Nice bit of sunshine 🌞 but hard work into the wind. Gordon and Tony turned off and did shorter rides. Three of us went to Cafe One, just as the rain was starting, then after one of those big toasted tea cakes, it was back on t’bike. The rain had stopped, the sun was out, and the wind 💨 was behind us ( most of the way ). So, good ride, let’s hope the weather keeps on improving. 🚲

Yes the first of March, does that mean it’s Spring! Well the weather does look a little better for Sunday, but still a bit breezy. So let’s see if we can get to Pershore. 10 o’ clock, Tardebigge. 🚴🏽🚴‍♀️

Well, we stuck to the plan, four of us turned up at Tardebigge and went for a short steady ride to Crowle. It is a very nice cafe that we hadn’t been to before, run by the locals, the only problem is that it closes at twelve on a Sunday, but we just made it in time. The wind was very strong today, and that made it quite hard work ( ask Moira ) but it rained luckily only while we were in the cafe. So at least we got a ride in. Moira, Chris T. Chris P. And Me. 🚲

I’ve been looking at different weather forecasts and they’re all different, so reading between the lines, I think the best thing we can do is go out half an hour later and hope for the best. Then I think a shortish ride ( because I’m not very fit ) would be a good idea. So 10:30 start, just a one off, and a steady ride to Crowle village hall cafe. 10:30 Tardebigge. 🚴‍♀️🚴🏽

Decided not to go out, being sensible.

Not too optimistic about this week’s run, the weather forecast is diabolical. However, try and be optimistic, just do a short ride to The Shop and Cafe at Crowle. 10 o’clock at Tardebigge. 🤞🚴🏽 🚴‍♀️

Sorry Barry, miscalculation, it was about 11 when we got there, I’ll give you a point. Six of us started out ( a bit late ) Gordon, Roger, Kevin Y. Mick, Chris T. and me. Gordon turned off and went his own way. The rest of us went on to the cafe where Alan P. had already arrived. Rode home together, and there were a few aching legs. 🚲

It will be Priest’s Bridge, Radford, about twenty minutes after starting. 🤞 ,

Forecast looks dry and quite mild, if a bit breezy, so let’s go to Clive’s of Cropthorne. 10 o’clock, Tardebigge. 🚴🏽🚴‍♀️

Got to Tardebigge, no one there, few minutes later Chris P. came riding round the corner, then Roger came. Not much enthusiasm but off we went, only did about two miles and down went my back tyre, Oh Bother, nice wet muddy tyre, so fixed it and carried on. Few more miles, the rain 🌧 started, slowly getting heavier. We decided then to keep turning right, and somehow we ended up at Broad Acres, so in we went, There were a lot of cyclists out today, and most of them were in Broad Acres. Had a pleasant three quarters of an hour eating and drinking and chatting, before going back out into the elements and riding home, with the wind 💨. Did twenty seven miles, but.at least we got out. 🚲
