  1. Steve T

    Club Run.

Which way are you going and ETA, so we can meet you en route? And a belatedly Happy Birthday to Mr & Mrs P.
  2. Jen and I will meet you at PB and hopefully ride out for a bit, before turning orf to return via Springridge nurseries for a cuppa. No other opportunity this week to try out the new velocipede.
  3. I'll either see you at the bottom of Swansbrook, or more likely at the caff, as Jen now has an electric bike and the fisheries is close enough for a practice ride for her. I may well run out of juice before her!
  4. Thankee all for the thankees, glad you enjoyed the tea and teacakes, despite my impression of King Alfred in burning the latter. Lucky that Moira was on hand to woof 'em down. The flypast at least distracted folk from my ineptitude and Jen's forgiven me. Some good pics but not for release to an unsuspecting public, as the first two suggest 'care in the community' contenders, out with their carers! See you Tuesday (on day release).
  5. Thankee for the birthday wishes, I'm now a year younger, as I'm going backwards instead. At least I've been promoted from Newbie! See you all tomorrow at/near PB, looks like a warm 'un but we've got shade organised for tea.
  6. Not out tomorrow, me cousin's coming to lunch. Hope to see you Tuesday but if I can get some idea of numbers coming here next Sunday, 'twill help with the bun count. Have a good ride.
  7. 50/50 whether I'm out tomorrow but assume the crossroads mentioned is at Cookhill, arriving c10.05ish. Barry if I am out, I can meet outside your place at say 9.40, to play safe. Also, a reminder re chat to John, that you're all invited to Tonry Towers on Sunday 10th July, toast and tea will be provided.
  8. Sorry Mick, I might have joined you but picked up too late, so see you at Chaddesley. Enjoy the fish!
  9. Thanks chaps, clearly brain fog after a week orf! Plan B, given a few old codgers who I know going to the CC bash, so will now meet Chris and pals at Bromsgrove at 11.30. At least I can avoid the grind to Astwood Bank and the overdue grass cutting.
  10. Thanks Julie, I thought he was back but clearly not. That's me wheel back gone!
  11. Back from hols, so I'll be there, despite the grind up to the Ridgeway, so will see you at the lights at c10am. Barry, 9.20am outside your place? Also, Happy Birthday to Chris and Kev and in response to MIck H's boozy old boys do: what date, as you don't say? Or have I missed it, as a Newbie?
  12. Hills? Hills? I don't do hills, particularly the 'little' hill from Feckenham to Astwood lights, without a mountain bike. I'll spread the load via a grovel up through Inkberrow/Holberrow Green and see you at the lights c10am. Barry, happy to meet you in Inkberrow, unless you're going via Feckenham mountain.
  13. Sorry folks, won't be out, as I'd forgotten we have a family bash tomorrow. Have a good ride, hope it stays dry, may risk Defford on Tuesday!
  14. Tony Newbie? Do you mean Anthony Newley? Someone digging a hole for themselves!
  15. See you at PB around 10am. Sun!
  16. Thanks Moira, see you at PB/FH area around 10, a la Lancs Lad! I assume you'll be coming down FH Lane. Jen may also possibly join us on 4 wheels. PS I'm amused to note that I'm viewed as a Newbie, after 57 years on the bike!!
  17. Ditto, see you at 10am at the bottom of Swansbrook Lane, looks like less porridge around to ride into tomorrow!
  18. Steve here, remember me? I'll see you at the car park in Sanders Park for 9.30am.
  19. Thanks for the info Moira but I won't be out tomorrow, as my cousin's coming for lunch. Went out today and wish I was out tomorrow instead, to avoid riding through porridge! Have a good ride.
  20. Thanks Moira, I'll meet you at the bottom of Swansbrook (near the outdoor place) and will aim to get there early. Please hang on if not, it will only be a minute or so!
  21. Which way are you going Moira and I'll meet you en route? Cheers Steve T
