It was very nice today meeting up with the gang, Ann and I were in the car 🚙 as Moir has said. I was trying on shoes 👞 and went back to Alan’s to try on some more, it is a problem buying shoes on line. Oh well, hope to be back on the bike 🚲 soon. 🤞

It has been decided to cancel the run today for obvious reasons, it’s peeing down here. Oh well, have a good day. 🚲

Moira is going to be in charge as I will not be out, she is having internet problems though, so I am putting this on the website. The weather is not looking too good so the Run will be shortish, going via cross roads A422/A441 and eventually to Broad Acres. It was a wet start, and cold for the 1st of August, but Moir, Gordon, Mick D. and me set off, meeting Barry on the way. Found some nice quiet lanes on the way to Mickleton. The cafe was quite popular but we found some seats and enjoyed tea and tea cakes. As we were leaving Chris and Roger came in, a bit of bad timing, so we left them there, and ride home just the 5 of us. Bit cool after the last few weeks, but nice ride. 🚲

Nice ride to Halfpenny Green today, more comfortable with the weather around 20 degrees. The cafe has been changed a little and redecorated. So, Moira, Julie, Leigh, Gordon and me had a steady ride to HG cafe where after a while Chris and Roger came in, and a lot of chatting went on, it was really nice to see everyone. We all rode home together, and I think there will be a few photos being posted after this. 🚲

This week we will be meeting at Sanders Park (just a one off) and going to Halfpenny Green Airport, we haven’t been over that way for a while. 9,30 Sanders Park Bromsgrove. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴🏽

What a hot day today !! I saw 29 degrees on the Garmin, but that didn’t stop 5 brave soles venturing out. Julie, Moira, Bev, Kev and me had a steady ride out to Clive’s, the cafe wasn’t too crowded so we were able to sit inside where it was much cooler. After refreshments we rode home without incident. Nice ride but we were glad to get home 🏠 and get out of the heat. 🚲

Six started today from TB. Moira, Julie, Leigh, Mick Dolton. Gordon, and me. The weather was just about perfect for cycling, about nineteen/ twenty degrees and not a lot of wind. The ride over to Long Marston was at a steady speed, through some lanes that we haven’t been through for a while. At the cafe we sat outside in the sunshine 🌞, and then in a while Chris and Alan Philpot came and joined us. After eating and drinking and taking the pee, we all rode back together, but having to stop by the side of the road for a minute or two , to let some of the tea out again. The ride home was incident free, and the wind was with us.🚲
