Starting from TB this morning was Tim , John , Bev and me . Off we set to meet the rest near to Priest Bridge where Tim turned off for home .

A little further up the road were the Philpott , Steve and Barry ( 3 on electric bikes ) We did a reasonable circuit via Peopleton, Pinvin and the Bishampton . It was quite windy . It was nice going the opposite ways to usual it looks so different .

The electric duo Alan and Barry got on the front at one point and the pace went up we all stopped talking heads downs think they forgot some of us are just using leg power 🤣🤣

On arriving at Steve’s house Chris , Roger , Ivor and Pete were already there and were sipping tea awaiting there teacakes . Jenny was well prepared but the girls gave a little hand with serving while the chaps sat and put the worlds to right.

I must say the teacakes were lovely . The girls then had a walk around Jenny’s lovely garden which is looking beautiful.

Alan and Barry were looking at Barry’s bike then Christine and Jenny joined in too.

We all sat off for home but we soon realised we’d lost Ivor and Pete but they later caught Chris and me up they’d stopped for a call of nature.

Steve and Jenny thank you very much for hosting you did a great job and we appreciate it .

With Roger back on two wheels we set of for a social day at Tonry estate.

The ladies took a tour of the grounds, picking up some horticultural tips

along the way from Jenny.

After the tours time to relax with lots of tea and extra large teacakes.

Plus plenty of jam not those silly little pots.
