That's different to what you said on Thursday but looking forward to The Lenchs . After watching Simon Yates win the stage the other day I'm in training for a hill finish !!!!! Just need to lose 1.5 stones and speed up considerably on the approach ( as normally see the climb and slow down ) and be a lot quicker on the actual climb too 😫 See you in the morning x

Ivor I can assure you there was some pain today as our beloved leader Mr S forgot to mention to get to Clows Top we had to go via Great Whitley !!! Made it up in normal position last Kevin R did stay back and helped to drag me up. We had a lovely descent on the way home via Bliss Gate. John forgot to mention that Roger was sporting his new Saracens top which looked good 😝

Mr Pardo I'm hurt !!!!! As you have said to me previously someone has to be last and I try my best to make the rest of you look good on the hills and I wasn't that far back you cheeky young man. A nice ride despite that horrible hill toast was good when it came .

Sorry John but we just can't ignore the hedge can we . So our illustrious leader was leading us over the foot bridge at the ford at Pinvin where I must say he has previously landed in the hedge just on leaving the narrow footpath for the road . So knowing that he took it steady I was just behind him when I saw him going yet again towards the hedge with a few oh no not, not that hedge again and yes he landed in it once again. I'm sorry but I did laught quite loudly and the rest behind us wondered what was going on. John climbed out of the hedge unhurt but covered in sticky buds and leaves . A few photos but unfortunately couldn't get my phone out quicker enough to capture John in the hedge as I was laughing too much.

Thank you gentleman a very enjoyable cafe stop and ride home despite getting wet the last couple of miles .

Nice to actually see you in some photos Chris despite nearly having your camera out in most of them . Well done to you both .
