DaveM Posted June 16, 2013 Report Share Posted June 16, 2013 Bit of a slog into the wind to the Wild Fowl Trust. M and I had the place to ourselves for about five minutes till about twenty five of the Solihull arrived. Our 'A' group appeared just after them so had to endure a queue for some time. Never been to this cafe before, found the staff very friendly and food reasonably priced. An enjoyable break with some old tales exchanged between us and Chris Moseley who some of you may well know from the 70's. The 'A's very kindly offered to escort us most of the way back (Oh no!) and did not push us too hard. Today's numbers were down as several of the regulars are on holiday and consisted of : Mandy and Dave M, Kev Young, Chris Pardoe, Chris Kent, and Ken Haddon. Pity no one turned up at the Lickeys made iit a hard start climbing Rose Hill to start the my ride.
