Sean Barker Posted June 28, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 28, 2015 Received the following text today from Mick Hi - rode PLB Muco 130k with 7000 April others yesterday in the Sun. Busy start for 1st k then closed roads through-out. Like riding the Tour. Every house, hamlet, village having a party and cheering us on. Drums, flutes you name it. Food stop was a complete village with spit roast pig, foul with free oranges, cakes , juice, water, bananas! Saw only one rider on the ground and you rode in groups of like capabilities as you sorted yourselves out on the first section of hilly main road (20k). Great day that ended in Callac as a village festival. Completed undulating course in 4.30 hours with 1270 meters of climbing. Great roads and narrow lanes well serviced. Fantastic event.
