Congratulations Sam, very well done!!!!.

Two things worth mentioning, Sam was knocked off her bike by a motorist towards the end of the bike leg, picked herself up and continued to the

transition area were she set off on the run.

And the 2nd placed competitor Sara Northover was the 2011 World Triathlon

Sprint champion.

Brilliant.

Well done Sam. When I get you to ride around corners they wont see you for dust.

Managed to complete the Malvern Spring Sportive Yesterday.

170Km in 6hrs 45mins. now I need a new pair of climbing legs.

The route started straight up the Wiche followed by Ankerdine, Shelsey,

Clows Top, Cleobury Mortimer. A short rest down to Bromyard then

over the Downs round and up Fromes Hill plus every hill they could find

in between before finishing of on the Ledbury road to climb back up to British Camp.

Would be pleased of some company next time if anyone fancies a few miles?

Thanks guys and well done Chris! I will try harder with my cornering on the bike honest!!!... First I need to learn how to stay upright!! :-)

Mick persuaded me out last night and it seemed to help with the bruising and stiffness so hope will be ok and see you all Thursday . Although weather looks naf! :-(

Great ride Chris. I made it 16.1mph, but did you knock any time off for stops? That would would put your average up.  I think your chances of getting company on the next one are pretty slim. The only club members who could stay with you on that sort of course would be MIke H, Phil C or Paul Haynes. You could give Chris Froome a call.

If I get fed up of TTs I might start doing some distance stuff next year.  I would love to do a 200km with Sean.

OLD GUYS RULE  :D
