ChrisP
Does anyone have a terbo Michelle can borrow for a few weeks. On the way to Tardebigge today she decided to try to ride through the side of a Saab which pulled out from the side road by the Fire station in Northfield. I have spent most of the day with her in bed at the QE. To start with it appeared to be just a dislocated shoulder. But after a scan she will have to stay over night to have an operation in the morning to put everything back in place. Will update when i have more info tomorrow. Note!! the discomfort did stop her talking for a short period.

Sean Barker
Really sorry to hear about Michelle's incident today. I've had a near thing at that turn before. I think the drivers eyes are looking for cars and are blind to bicycles. I do hope the shoulder is put right and heals up quickly.

TonyS
Nah, you want Quo "Down Down" or "Caroline". Or any decent rock'n'roll tune. Especially The Killer on form on the joanna!

Best to txt or call first just in case there are any changes to the schedule. You can get her on 07757 616917. Thanks all for your wishes and support. ChrisP
Just picked up Michelle from the QE. Pleased to say she looks brighter than Thursday morning. The cheeky smile and impish look back on her face, plus the laugh her daughter finds rather embarrassing. Also the voice has returned. Still has lots of pain and discomfort after the operation but back in one piece. She don't know how she will cope with the lifting etc. at home but I'm sure Chris will have a spread sheet given him explaining what to do and how to do it. Worried about how long it will be before she can get back out on the bike as she will be out of action for a number of weeks. Thinks she will loose fitness. Have told her we will soon knock her back into shape as the weather will be warmer by then. I'm sure all the club wish her a speedy recovery.
