TonyS
Closed for reconstruction work from today 10th January until 30th March. Closure notice does say that 'emergency access will be maintained at all times', but what that means in practice for bikes has yet to be seen. You have been warned! TonyS
Bridge clearly closed to motor traffic but currently only by two pairs of pedestrian barriers, easily negotiated on two wheels. Hopefully locals Chris, Owen, Hannah and Sam, or others passing through, will keep situation updated for the rest of us.

Mick Hazlewood
The bridge is now totally closed to pedestrians and cyclists. The 7 foot barriers are now both tied together with wire and are fixed and secured to the wooden railing either side of the road. If you have wire cutters in your pocket you will get through !. TonyS
The Barnt Green bridge is also closed off. It's a long detour if you forget to return past Kenty's house!
