Sean Barker Posted October 11, 2014 Report Share Posted October 11, 2014 I'm going to have to miss out on this one as I'm riding an Audax down in Tewkesbury. In fact I'm riding as a "helper" for one of Mark Rigby's events. I will ride the course making sure all the roads, controls and gps mapping are ok. (the official event is on Saturday 18th October) I still get credited for the ride as I'll be completing my brevet card along the way. It's nice to be able to help Mark who was most helpful to us in setting up our Audax event during the summer. I started at 8:00am at Tewkesbury in a pea soup fog and I was virtually in Daventry before it lifted. A nicer second half until the sun set and the temperature plummeted.
