Hannah
Howdy all! Owen and I were wondering what the planned destination for the A group was this coming Sunday? "Not Evesham!" - Owen's words, not mine!

Sean Barker
Not going to be able to join you tomorrow. I'll be riding another 200km Audax (my third 200km in six days) I am really under pressure to get my five for this month in early as I am going to struggle for full days this month. Mrs DAVIES
Can't work out location of Croome Park. I want to plumb it in to my Garmin, so I know where I am going if I get left. Which one is it on the club the list of destinations? Post Code?

TonyS
A very pleasant 'A' run today. Proving he can delegate, ChrisP put Ken & Tony in charge of initial navigation. This resulted in the usual rut being followed via Bournheath, Droitwich and Crowle to Defford, followed by a southern circuit of Croome Park before arriving at the NT cafe. Arriving later than both Saracen 'B' and a Beacon group proved fortuitous as the outdoor NAAFI canteen had just opened so we missed the inside queue for food. The return journey was equally pleasant, although two mechanicals had to be sorted. The first involved coming across the Beacon group looking disconsolately at a broken bike. Since the chainrings had come adrift from the cranks, with not enough complete bolts left to re-attach, we soon moved on, leaving them to decide between pushing and sending for the sag wagon. Unfortunately we had only gone a further 400 yards or so when Chris Poole's chain broke! This was soon sorted with the help of a mobile toolkit and a new split link, and eventually the gruppo reached Tardebigge in a more or less compacto fashion - just Hannah being carefully shepherded up the last hill by the only two gentleman in the village, and young Richard happy to ride the last bit on his own.. The usual attendees were out, with two notable exceptions.
Mick Hazlewood
Yes I did send a letter of apologies to the club run captain to say I was otherwise engaged. Playing silly buggers ( racing ) with 239 other riders down in sunny S,Wales. Hope I was missed for the right reasons ?.

ChrisP
Sun out again another great day for riding bikes. Sorry about the Beacon top but this guy always seems to hanging on the back. Barry managed to stay awake long enough for me to get this shot. Had to find some camouflage for the guy still hanging on the back. A quick split link replacement provided by Lee soon had soon had Chris Poole back on the road. Our resident mechanic Owen Hazlewood was seen to shoot of up the road at the thought of getting his hands dirty on a broken chain.
