DaveM
Mike H kicked off this weeks events by travelling down to Abergavenny on Tuesday evening for the Realteam 10 on the R10/17 course where he clocked an excellent 24:13. On Saturday up in Ashbourne he rode the Belper BC 25 on the A25/11 and went under yet again with a cracking 58:17. Two great rides Mike. Also on Saturday I rode my first 25 after a gap of forty years. More of a training day than anything else as I could not remember how to ride that distance after such a long time. The event was the Coventry CC on the K10/25P, not exactly flat and two laps, but a good surface and the weather was perfect. Pleased with coping with the distance but very disappointed with the time of 1:07:04. I can maybe knock a couple of minutes off that on a course I'm familiar with and a modification to the bike. Not likely to worry anybody entering the club champ then.
AlanW
Dave, despite what you may think, your time is still very respectable!
Sean Barker
I agree with Alan. Dave you're being too hard on yourself. 70 years old and knocking a time like that out after such a long sabbatical from the distance is mightily impressive indeed. stumpy
Well done Dave, that was a great time matey, but yes you need to go a bit faster. We always need to go a bit harder / faster, eh!!!
rovi
Well done Dave. This equals 2.5 x 26min 55secs 10"s. Damn good pacing. Cheers Ivor.
