As Ivor will be of to see the Tour I will come out via the Lickeys about 9:15 to give directions before going down to the Forrest to meet the other group. DaveM Posted July 6, 2014 Report Share Posted July 6, 2014 Making our own way to the cafe (post race recovery pace) we caught a glimpse of Alan Philpott going in the opposite direction then on reaching Bidford bridge we were ambushed by a hoard of Saracens. We managed to give them the slip as they turned for the Littletons and we carried straight on for Honeybourne. Would you want to be in a queue behind that lot? They arrived about a quarter of an hour after us and we could see that they were an A and B mix. After a longish break we set off all together for the return leg. A pleasant loop through Pebworth to Bidford where we managed to escape again by hanging back and getting caught by the bridge lights. At Dunnington drag we were halted half way up by a snake crossing the road! What's the chances if that happening? On then to Grafton Mill and who should we pick up but Alan Philpott again! What's the chances of that happening? The multitude today consisted of Mandy, Hannah, Owen H, Ken, Tony, Garry, Pete C, John S, Graham K, Chris P, Chris K, Derrick B, Kev Y, Speedy Kev, myself and welcome guest Lee of Droitwich.
