TonyS
Given the state of flooding further down Shell Brook, I thought I'd take a look at Shell Ford on my way home. A four way impasse - the car had been abandoned (and had a dent in the front wing). Needless to say, I made my second U-turn of the day and returned via Priest's Bridge

ChrisP
Most interesting day. Did some therapy with Michelle on the way to Tardebigge before she had to turn for home. Started with a good pace ride before facing the flood well done to Leigh for showing us how deep it was. Should have taken TonyS,s advise about which way to retrace our path. We had to return from Himbleton ourselves and go via Priests Bridge then round to Droitwich. Although I see Tony had two goes at it. As it was getting late we pulled into Julie's for a quick cuppa. Return trip left us out numbered by Beacon cyclists? But thanks to Laura who put in a great ride we managed to hold our own. Ivor past a few comments as we past him but I didn't quite catch his comments. Well done to Laura nice go faster bike a bit of muck makes it look as if it's done some hard miles. DaveM
That would explain why no one turned up at Whitlenge Quite prepared to encounter plenty of water on the way but whole route was bone dry!
