stumpy
The drive over to this event brought back memories of my time at Draycote Water Sailing Club.(30 + years) But hay ho the quest on the bike continues with another leg bustin 10 over Dunchurch way. Just Dave M & myself riding this today with a fast outward leg before a bit of a hard grind back to the finish. 29:14 for me today so + 9 seconds over my come back PB time and a new Max HR on the bike to boot. http://app.strava.com/activities/142713752 https://evententry.ctt.org.uk/Local/RSCC_Open_10TT_18514_Results_List.pdf Colin B

DaveM
Sorry for the delay in responding but I was too wrecked to sit at the computer last night and also had some Giro to watch. Hard day indeed with a head wind to fight against on the home leg , but - same for everybody! Nice to be competing on the hottest day of the year though. Nothing to shout about time wise (25:44) but this isn't a fast course even on a calm day, but still managed to beat the fastest 70 year old in the Midlands by 19 secs for the first time this season. Good to have Colin for company over tea and cake. Thanks to Sutton RC for a well organised event.
