TT Results Sunday 27th

Recommended Posts

First the bad news  Mike H travelled all the way down to South Wales to ride the Ogmore Valley 25 only to find that the local Council had put cones out on 2 miles of the course in preparation for mowing the verges!  The organiser came up with the option of shortening the event to 21miles, but by this time a lot of the field had decided to give it a miss.  Wind and rain helped Mike make the decision to call it a day. So he ate as much cake as he could before heading home.

The good news is that the Beacon Little Mountain TT went ahead on not the best of days - cold, wet and windy and Paul H had a what looked like a comfortable ride on the tough 39 mile course.  This was Paul's second open TT since coming back to competition late last year. Saracen supporters Eddie, Mavis, Debbie, Mandy, Colin Bradley, Phil Carbutt and myself cheered him on to record a commendable time of 2:21:00.

Great ride Paul, well done.

Rumour has it that several Saracen members shook hands today vowing to ride next years event  We will see.

Thanks to Colin for the great pictures taken today and now displayed in the gallery.

Well done Beacon for organising this historic event again.  Special thanks to the many marshals standing out in the rain and to the ladies running the excellent refreshments.
