Mick Hazlewood
BDCA 25mls TT :- One down one to go. Pretty tough out there today on a new course for me at Derby. It was mainly Dual carriageway with a nagging cross headwind on the way out to the turn and then it was a big gear all the way back to the finish. Time:- 1.00.15. Gutted !. Well at least I'm getting quicker and it's a long season. NOTE For Tomorrow's event - MUST TRY HARDER - 16 seconds harder to get the right side of the hour. Sean Barker
Well done Mick. I rode an Audax today and the wind at times was quite strong, I wouldn't want to have been riding against the clock in that, so that 16 seconds has to be "getable" in the next one. AlanW
See, if you would have done those winter track sessions, you'd have that bit more speed in ya legs....

Mick Hazlewood
Well Ivor it wasn't today but I returned a time of 1.00.40 down in Wales showing some consistency in my results. Far from perfect conditions but seemed a better day than yesterday until I got out on the course and had a nagging crosswind in places to contend with which made it quite interesting running a deep section carbon wheel up front. Still, happy with a good weekends racing and it's a long time since I've ridden two 25's back to back. I think the last time was at Builth Wells in the early 1980's. Sean Barker
Well done Mike. A really good early season marker and to do the two of them on consecutive days make it an even more impressive featĀ
