Sean Barker
I've not been feeling too well over the last few days, really struggled over the last 50km of that Audax on Tuesday. I'm hoping to be OK for the Tamworth 200km Audax on Saturday and then a gentle ride down to Hillers on Sunday
Mick Hazlewood
Sounds like a nice gentle sensible ride out your having on Sunday Ivor or are you planning a couple of laps around the Lenches on the route there ?.

Lauralane
Note to self: don't eat bacon on a cafe break again. Parched is not the word. I enjoyed today
TonyS
Laura, you still need the food, but you probably also need two bottles, and possibly a fill-up at the cafe Must say, I was ready for a cuppa or three when I got home. Nice ride though, thanks Ivor.
Sean Barker
I may have made my own way there and arrived a little on the late side but a most enjoyable cafe stop and so nice to see Tony looking rather dashing and resplendent in his new club top. Dave, Mandy, Chris K and John extended their break to keep me company and we all rode back together. I should be a regular again now throughout the summer as I intend to ride my Audax events midweek. DaveM
Oh no! Note to self - buy some more earplugs. What a lovely day! A little cool to start but bright and sunny with nice clean dry roads. Even got the carbon out! Went direct to the cafe (easy post race recovery ride) to find Ivor and the crew already very comfortable in the gazebo. Soon got into a relaxed mood and so a few of us decided to extend the break and had another round of coffees whilst Ivor, Kev *, Laura, Chris T, John S and Tony S * headed for home. Eventually prised ourselves out of the chairs to take a leisurely pace back through the acres of yellow rapeseed fields with Mandy, Sean, Chris K *, and John C and myself * Back in time to catch the last 60km of the Paris - Roubaix. Another memorable club run in great company. * Matching haircuts
