Mick Hazlewood
Having decided to go out on the road again today following the same route as yesterday I was more than surprised to see how bad the roads had become in 24 hrs. Shouldn't have been really after all the rain. Yesterday quite cloudy and the threat of rain but dry roads, today warm, sunny and floods everywhere. Now I should know better but when riding nearby to Himbleton I came across a flooded Road, Surprise, Surprise. Anyway I soon realised how deep it was, How do I know ! well I thought I would ride through it rather than go back and it was a least 18 inches deep. I got halfway through it come to a halt and had to dismount, it came to just below my knees. Hey Ho
