Mick Hazlewood Posted January 7, 2014 Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 Eddie and myself have recently made a start on researching and collating club records for time trials and previous winners of Saracen club championships from the very start of the club in the early 50's to 2013. It is our intention to put all this information on to our website so that this can be viewed by the membership and any one else who might be interested. I will be taking some information to club tonight ( time trial records ) so if anyone would like to have a look please feel welcome. Also if anyone has a claim to a club record please make Eddie or myself aware of this as there are some records which are a bit incomplete. Our research so far is showing that some very fast time trial times were achieved even in the 50's and 60's. There are some names which seem to dominate over the years Derek Harrison, Paul and Phil Carbutt to name just a few, but I am sure that some are still open to improvement in the future.
