Tardebigge Run 19th December

A very small turnout this morning.  Not surprising considering the temperature - probably about 2 degrees. The groups consisted of two for the 'B's and about eight for the 'A's.  The 'B's, Dave and Dr Dave, left before us but we soon caught up with them in Copyholt Lane where unfortunately they had found a patch of black ice. Luckily there were no injuries sustained. This caused a bit of anxiety in the groups and a few different routes to the cafe were decided on. Chris P, Vince and myself went via Bradley Green, Earls Common and Crowle taking it very cautiously. The roads got progressively drier the nearer we got to Droitwich and we managed to stay upright.  We made a quick stop in the town to visit the new bike shop and then on to Julies.  On arrival we found quite a crowd. Barry, Ivor and Sean had all ridden solo to join us for the break and the rest of the group had made it without incident. We all enjoyed free mince pies - Julies Christmas treat!

At the cafe were Ivor, Barry, Kevin, John S, Garry W, Leigh, Chris P, Vince, Sean and myself.  Somewhere out there are Big Gear Bob, the two Daves and the bloke who's name nobody can remember.
