rovi
Suffering from cold feet nowadays?TRY THIS..Cut off a piece of kitchen foil approx.8"wide,fold it in half to 4"wide.NOW take the insole out of your cycling shoe, place it on top of the foil, fold all the surplus foil up roundthe edges of the insole.Replace in your shoe.It helps, use more layers of foil if you have room.Bake in a moderat...just joking. Sean Barker
Does that really work? Always been a fan of sealskinz socks myself when the mercury drops
DaveM
I use your kitchen foil idea when it really gets cold and it does help. Though I am not allowed to have it Christmas week as it has to go back on the turkey. I came across some Welly Warmers in Aldi earlier this year and I had an idea. I cut out a hole for my cleats and the heel and placed them over my cycling shoes then put on my overshoes. Quite effective. I think this and the foil would keep the feet warm in anything that I would want to be out in. I have heard some good reports about the Sealskinz socks but I would wear a pair - not just the one! Modified Welly Warmer. Patent Pending.
Mrs DAVIES
Never had cold feet in overshoes! What next electric boot heaters? Do you have to 'baste' the foot before wrapping? Assume there's no stuffing?
AlanW
I used to suffer something terrible with cold feet, but since I started using Endura Merino wool socks a few years ago, not a problem any more. LINKY
Sean Barker
Merino wool really is amazingly warm, in fact the sealskinz I use are also made of merino wool
