DaveM Posted December 5, 2013 Report Share Posted December 5, 2013 The forecast of high winds must have put the wind up the usual bunch as there were only nine riders out today. Seven for the 'A' + 'B' group and three for the 'C's. Mike got a lead on the group from the start and held it till the outskirts of Droitwich. Not sure if he was acting out the memory of some old road race or if he just wanted a hard time fighting the wind on his own. A long hard ride into some strong winds and we were all glad to get to the cafe at Whitlenge where we found Mandy on her second cup. Usual great service from the staff and a pleasant break was enjoyed by all. Those heading back towards B'ham had the wind behind them this time but unfortunately had showers to contend with.
