Mrs DAVIES
New Pinarello occupied bedroom for a year. Went out 6 times in dry. Rang shop, " said ride it a bi". Rang this summer said bring in October. Just picked it up £75. Mistake ? What is the situation with a first Service?
Sean Barker
I thought the first service was included in the price of a new bike. always has been with any bike I have bought. Perhaps one of the more experienced members can shed some light on this?
Mrs DAVIES
Apparently first service is 6-8 weeks from purchase. First time I have come across this, they didn't tell me to bring it back. All the bikes I ever bought I took back after a year and the service was free. As it stands I have been charged £75. I realise a full service is conceivably a lot more work. Currently trying to negotiate a middle ground ie £75 minus what a first service would cost. Mrs DAVIES
Offered me £35 off next service. Not a refund. Beggars can't be choosers.
