Mick Hazlewood
Well this was my penultimate event of this season and I was hopingto have better conditions to perhaps improve on my PB this year but it wasnot tobe. The event was on the R10/17 at Abergavenny/Raglan nr Monmouth and is a DCcourse straight out and back.Although the weather remained dry there was a strong sidewind which made the going quite tough in both directions for us mere mortals.I recorded a time of 24.11 for the 10mile event which put me 48th overall and3rd in my age group. There was 24 non starters and finishers out of a near full field who decidedthat conditions were not to there liking

Sean Barker
Well done Mike and respect for turning out in testing condition when so many others didn't. Considering the wind that was an impressive time.
