I had my first sting of the year yesterday as one landed on my hand as I was cycling and before I could respond he stung me. Took anti histamine and waspeze immefiately. Mick Jagger lips, eyes like tennis balls with slits. Vomiting etc Acute symptoms began to settle, leg had swollen painful lump 4 days. No wonder I felt sick on the way home & needed painkillers & a bag of peas for the pain for 4 days. Hope they're having a day off tomorrow. I really do live in dread of getting a deep sting around the face, the last two times I did, I ended up in hospital.
