stumpy
There is a bar there were you can buy a drink, but no alcohol for you though young man!. It never stopped you when you were his age. But I guess your older and wiser now ay Mick. Talkin about alcohol when do the club runs stop using the cafes and get to use the pubs!!!!!! you know like old times. Its just that my legs seem to work better when there's a half pint in each of them. (carb replacement you understand )
DaveM
We missed the rendezvous at Alvechurch so I had to navigate to Charlecote with good old OS. We arrived to find Ivor's group in good spirits and already on their second cup. They were seated inside due to the World Wasp Convention being held in the gardens. About twenty minutes later the 'A's appeared, a couple of who were steaming like race horses. They had taken a longish route to the cafe carrying out a survey of the UK Motorway Network on the way. Not looking for a beating on the way home we left, but not without offering the use of a map to the nomads. They declined the offer, or words to that effect. We also reminded them that they needed to be back by Tuesday as it was club night. A brisk run back to Tardebigge completed another enjoyable Sunday. The 'A's did make it back safely and not far behind us, as they were seen, neatly bunched, near home. 'A's today were Mike and Owen H,Kevin Y, Chris K, Ken, |Chris Poole and guest David C. and 'B's Ivor, Pete C, Barry, Gary, Mandy and Dave.
