Sean Barker Posted August 29, 2013 Report Share Posted August 29, 2013 New Birmingham City Library opening on the 3rd of September In these days where virtually all the information you could ever want is at the touch of a button, whether it be on your computer or smart phone, and electronic books take an ever increasing slice of all book sales, there are those that would argue that Libraries are an outdated concept. However Birmingham is about to unveil a behemoth of a library. It may look like an ugly multi story car park from the outside but the following video shows the interior in all its impressive splendour. I for one am going to make a point of checking it out, just as soon as the initial mad crowds have died down. Anyone else interested?
