Speedy Kev
VELO CLUB SEVALE OPEN K46/1026.3.16 yes, I was off at 2.29pm, a bad number, and a bad time of day, but hey, the weather was the same for everybody!!! or was it??? It's an out and back course, no chance of getting lost, 4.5 miles into the wind out, then round the roundabout and 5.5 miles back with the wind, my plan was to ride using cadence and heart rate as my guide, so as not to blow my lid, I stuck to 95/100rpm and 175/180 bpm. simple!!It sort of worked, I kept it under control on the way out, and I felt great on the return leg, crossing the line with fuel in the tank, so to speak....M.Corbett actually did the fastest time 21m 50sP. Haynes ( Saracen RC) posted 26m 40sKev did..... hold on there a minute, did I mention that I was the only person on a road bike, not a TT rig??? no disc wheels and skin suit for Kev... and that it was windy??? particularly just when I was riding???...and I've not actually done any training... all I'll say is that it had a '9'in it.... ..in the wrong place.
