Hannah
Morning all! It's 9am Friday morning and the forecast for this Sunday is looking great! Very little wind at all but plenty of sunshine!!! Should make for a great days ride! So, where shall we go?We could take up Tim B's suggestion of Upton Warren from last week? We could head out to Charlecote or, if we're feeling brave, we could perhaps head over to Kenilworth? .... Please note, I only have the vaguest of ideas on how to get to the first two suggestions, and even less of an inkling on the final destination ... so I'm (as always) relying on the trustworthy guidance and expertise of a B run leader!Of course, I'm open to more suggestions - but this looks like our first proper day of spring riding and I'm well up for making the most of the nice weather!!! Sarashell
It wouldn't be a very long ride if we went to Upton Warren, Upton upon Severn on the other hand would be quite a nice ride.So then if the weather is on our side perhaps we could go to one Upton or another.? Sean Barker
B Run Report I arrived at Tardebigge just as the other Saracens were amassing. Soon a dozen of us were heading off for Upton upon Severn. As usual it was a disciplined and controlled pace as dictated for the most part by John and Tim.Alan Weaver soon turned off as he was only out for a quick couple of hours, the remaining eleven of us made it to the café where we were joined by Dave Mitchel, Ruth Sexton and Chris Philpot who had made their way there independently and Chris Kent who had made his way there by car and eagerly devoured his usual large full EnglishFor the first time this year we enjoyed our lunch alfresco in the spring sunshine. These are the days we endure the winter months for.Great weather, great company and a great ride, what more could you possibly want? ChrisP
A bit late posting yesterdays ride.Got side tracked watching Thomas in the Paris NIce.Anyway caught up with small party of A's at Kenilworth cafe. Not as warm as forecast down to 4 degs by the time i got there. As you can see they had already had starters and were about to tuck into cakes.Speedy struggled through that extra large slice of chocolate cake and Mick Hhad to help Alec to finish of concrete flap jack. Mick H giving a few tips for the return trip.Makes a nice change to have the sun out most of the day lets hope it continues.
