DaveM Posted August 11, 2013 Report Share Posted August 11, 2013 Fairly brisk run down to Evesham via the Lenches picking up Tony and Jane from the Beacon on the way. Cafe was deserted for a change so we were soon served and tucking in to those huge blocks they use for flood defences called bread pudding. We were all about finished when the 'A's turned up looking very fresh with no signs of breathlessness or sweating. Then we realized why - no Chrispy! They had been taking it easy. We made our escape but were caught near Bishampton. No attempt was made to pass us or force the pace and so I think it would have continued to Bromsgrove. How they will suffer when Chrispy finds out. Today's 'A's were Chris K, Kevin Y,Ken H, John S, Chris Poole and Tony S and the 'B's were Ivor, Gary W, Pete C, Barry L, Tony Lowe, Mandy M, Dave M.
