DaveM
Sounds good to me Chris. We will pick you up somewhere on the way. If anyone wants a shorter run, 50 mile round trip, they are welcome to park and ride from my house.

DaveM
Sorry we didn't get to meet up today but we came across an RTA at Grafton Mill. It had only happened a few minutes before we arrived so we stopped to help. A car had hit the bridge wall and the young driver was lucky to escape without serious injury. That delayed us a good 20 minutes and by the time we got to Fladbury it was raining quite hard so we decided to bale out to Cracombe cafe. Fell in with a couple of random Beacons and some of Chris K's mates from Blackwell Wheelers.
ChrisP
What a great day for a trip to the Cotswolds, sky light grey, air warm wind against but not to strong just right for a struggle up Snows Hill to try the Lavender Farm cafe not far from the top. Good company Kevin, MikeH, OwenH, GaryW, TonyS, ChrisK and Kevin from Speeds to be joined on route by the Mitchell's. Passing through Fladbury a few spots of rain in the air but following Sean example continue onward and we're only doing 120K No sign of Dave or Mandy decide they must still be in bed or on the spin bike in the garage. TonyS has already turned to do his own thing, ChrisK slips quietly of the back to find a short way home thought of Snows Hill affecting his legs or the clouds ahead. Getting closer to Broadway the heavens open up any thoughts of our hero Sean disappear and a quick change of route find us at Honeybourne cafe for welcome stop hoping the rain would ease. After much tea and refreshment reluctantly accept the rain is going to pour for the two hour journey home. Before leaving decided to turn the phone on to tell Hilary to keep to washing machine free and find that Dave has sent a message about his Samaritons work and was out and about.. Still a good day if a little wet.
Sean Barker
I was wondering if you were going to be getting what I was cycling through but even on the high ground the skies were dark and brooding in every direction, I'm comforted knowing we suffered together though
