I have however ridden many of Mark Rigby’s Audax events and in my opinion there are no better events around. I had done a little research into this event, as up until two weeks ago I thought I was riding it. It is supposedly a relatively easy 300km Audax with only 2,500m of climbing and by all accounts a sociable one too. The riders all set off at 6:00am and invariably ride around in groups to the first stop for breakfast. It certainly seems to be conducive with a fast ride as most people seem to finish earlier than they would have expected.
