Mike McClure
Hi Guys, last year I rode the PLB Muco Sportive near to my home in France (15 miles away). For the cyclosportive you don't need a licence. It was a great event with over 7,000 participants although I only really saw a lot of riders whilest waiting at the start. Once on the move it quickly cleared on 15 miles of main road and became a group to group ride all on closed roads, (my first time), it was an undulating course and you can pick different distances to cover. The HQ is based in Callac which would be within 50 miles of Roscoffe. My masion is only 42 miles from the port. I have rooms at my home in two spare bedrooms and a caravan that sleeps 4. On top of this there is a very large area for tents and cars.If anyone is interested I found this to be a great event that was very well organised, Every house and corner were fans, playing music, dancing, cheering. the half way stop even had a roast pig on a spit. let me know.see at PLB Muco, Brittany on internet, (too large to place here):

Sounds like an awesome event, very nice of you to offer your home and land to fellow Saracens!
