Club run 28 April i suggest Springridge as the venue. the weather forecast doesn’t look good so I doubt I will be out. If you are less wimpy than me - meet 9.30 at TB

it was good to have a few more people out today. Not just us “ girls” and John . I have totally upgraded Springridge cafe now they have a decent sized teapot! let’s hope the rain stays away for a while now.

Too chilly for me. A gym and then a walk instead for me.

i won’t be out. The house is a tip and I have friends over for dinner tonight, so lots to do. the rest of the week is looking promising

I did a ride today, so the weather will need to be better than the forecast to tempt me out tomorrow.

I hope you all got to the cafe without further incident - and before it rained. apologies for bailing out as I did. If there was going to be a 3rd puncture it would be likely to be mine ( as things come in 3s) . Berry Lane was temptingly close so I rode home. Currently lying in front of the fire after doing a couple of outdoor jobs on my return Hope to see you all on Tuesday

Good write up moira. I should say, when I got the puncture I remembered that the last time I used the winter bike I had a blow out then. So I thought it not worth fixing the puncture as the tyre is probably ********. I did start to walk home, but Moira had alerted international rescue ( Mark in Moira’s Audi) to collect me. kevin told me that we do have some new tyres somewhere so I will be pressing him to spend some time on my bike instead of his motorbike ( for a change!)

I am looking forward to swallowing lots of little white flies!

Let’s hope it stays dry. Forecast was wrong for today anyway.

I shall be going to the gym.

we only got a little bit wet. I wasn’t sure if we got caught in the forecast 12 o’clock shower ( which was late) or the 2 o’clock one which was early!

it’s brightening up but I am not in the mood to start on wet roads. My winter bike is still in pieces too, so it’s off to the gym for weights and a spin!

well, the summer bike was an asset on the Lenches. As it started to rain on the way home I chose to do my punishment for riding it by going solo via Droitwich. I got pretty wet for a few miles and then the sun came out for the last section. I will be washing my bike and putting it away for the winter. thanks for the Pastie pic Julie!
