  1. Nice ride today, I think everyone enjoyed it.  Weather was perhaps a little bit cold to start with, but we all warmed up on the bikes.

The ride home was, interesting, shall we say, not bad, but I wasn’t expecting to go through the middle of Redditch.

Good company, and  good ride. Let’s have plenty more.  🚲

  2. Just me at Tardebigge this morning, then a phone call from Mick saying he’ll meet en route.  So off I went, and there he was after about 3 miles.  It was a dry day and we did see a bit of sunshine 🌞 very nice.  We then picked up Steve in F/Horse Lane.  On the Long Mile, a car stopped us, it was Chris and Alan saying they were on the way to meet some of the gang at Broad Acres. So we them went to the end of the Lane and turned right, instead of left, and took the shortest way to BA.

Mandy and Dave, and Berry were there with Chris and Alan, so with us 3 it made quite a crowd.

After much tea and talking about all sorts of things, and sitting in that cold veranda, we all went home in all different directions.  It had obviously been raining 🌧 earlier on, but we missed it.  Didn’t do a lot of miles, but that doesn’t matter, it was a good day.  🚲

  3. The weather doesn’t look too good this week so I think we should have a shortish ride.  Going out via Priest’s Bridge and Shell Ford, after that we’ll see how we feel.

So let’s do a loop round and end up at Broad Acres.

    Tardebigge 10am 🤞🚲

  4. Just two of us started from Tb. Gordon and me, after three or four miles my phone 📞 started to ring, it was Mick D. said he was running late, so we slowed down so he could catch up.  Going on a bit further we met Steve, and so on we went.  Half way along the Long Mile, there was a person waving a 🖐 hand and as we got closer we saw it was Chris Philpot.  Well what luck, she invited us to Philpot Mansions for tea and tea cakes.  We did a bit of a loop round to give Chris time to get back home, and for Alan to finish his turbo session.

Chris provides us with tea, coffee, tea cakes and biscuits, Chris thank you very very much, you’re too good to us.

We seemed to be talking for hours, but eventually we had to go.  On the way out, in their garden the pheasant came to see us as Chris was feeding her.

And then back on t’bike and back home. The weather had been nice and sunny but windy.  All in all a very good day.

I must say an other very big thank you both for feeding us and putting up with us. 🙏🚲

  5. Well, here we are in 2023, Happy New Year.  There doesn’t seem to be any cafes open this Sunday, so I was going to do a none stopper, about 40 miles and steady.  If we do find a cafe open en route we can stop of course.  We will be going via P/Bridge and up past Philpot Mansions, after that I don’t know 🤔.

    10 o’clock. Tardebigge.  🚲
