ChrisKENT
I understand & have no reason to doubt the information received from Mr EDWARDS via Mick KOWALL (who also lives in the Philippines) & his (Mick’s wife/widow) that the legend that was “EDGIE” passed this mortal coil today; albeit may have been yesterday!🙏🙏🙏 He was a “ ONE -OFF” for sure who was very kind to Christine & I in our early married life! R.I.P. MICK…. gone but never forgotten🙏👍👏👏
Mick Hazlewood
Very sad news indeed, always had a tale to tell and he certainly was a character to be around. One word to sum up our friend, Unique !!!. R.I.P Mick.
ChrisP
Sad news about the death of Mick. We think he was probably 82 this was our last meeting at the club dinner in 2018 just before he left for the Philippines with the intention of not coming back. There will never be another character like him.
rovi
He always came to our dinners at the golf club. He was a mate of Jim George, they both worked in the Jewellery Quarter. He rode for the Earlswood R & P CC. Always had a story. R I P. Edgie
