  1. Dear  All  interested members

So nothing was properly posted last week other than a belated reference by Chris to a WhatsApp Group communication to which only the privileged few have access!

This week nothing as yet albeit not being “ One of few” I may not be aware of any planned outing!

It may surprise you to know that although not now being a participant of club-runs other club members would like to be aware of any planned destinations in the hope of a meet-up !

Yours daily bike-riding,(albeit in a more restricted capacity) old member……..C.K.😩

  2. Dear All

The Summer ReUnion will be taking place this Sunday 25th June @ the Swan Inn, Chaddesley Corbett from 12•00hrs.

All cyclists are welcome to attend whether by bike or otherwise & are welcome to join us & the esteemed cycling legends of years gone by in riding from the Bromsgrove Premiere Inn, situated adjacent to the A38 Bromsgrove bypass.

    Meeting @ 11•00hrs for a 11•15 departure!

You’ll also be able to join Messers EDWARDS,HAZLEWOOD &  Moi in a joint celebration of their 70th birthdays 🥳

I for one will gladly treat you to a drink 🥃 of your choosing, however I cannot guarantee similar indulgence by CO-conspirators due their tardyness with the cash, but then again Mr HAZLEWOOD may be persuaded by a bumper turnout to break into a note!🤔

  3. What a cracking family picture of a very old friend & club member whom I haven’t seen in many years.

Many thanks to CHRIS for his post & Eric for his kind message!
Eric was(is)a great guy whom was very experienced & accomplished on the bike; If my memory serves me correctly it was with Eric in the quartet that we achieved our best result in the RTTC National 100kms 4up TTT.

I also remember him as the coatch /mentor of Mr P Griffiths, who was very accomplished for many years in the TT domain.

I used to visit his ex (who’s name eludes me) with the girls & baby James after the parting of the matrimonial waves for a number of waves at their terraced home in Luton  or possibly Croydon Road, Selly Oak!!!

They were a great bunch who’s company I still have many fond memories of👍👌👍👍

If Eric is able to view this I wish him & all what must be a very extended family all my very best wishes for HEALTH, HOPE & HAPPINESS!!!
