Sarashell Posted August 1, 2021 Author Report Share Posted August 1, 2021 It was a wet start, and cold for the 1st of August, but Moir, Gordon, Mick D. and me set off, meeting Barry on the way. Found some nice quiet lanes on the way to Mickleton. The cafe was quite popular but we found some seats and enjoyed tea and tea cakes. As we were leaving Chris and Roger came in, a bit of bad timing, so we left them there, and ride home just the 5 of us. ChrisP Posted August 2, 2021 Report Share Posted August 2, 2021 YES didn't quite get the timing right this week. As we pulled in John and co. were ready to leave. This also meant we missed the birthday treat Barry had brought the others. The cafe was busy but we had a chat with a couple of senior guys who'd ridden out from Stratford. After spending an hour to finish refreshments we set of for home. As we got to the Feckenham area the sun broke through for a few mins and warmed us little. !4 degs most of the day rather a big drop from the other week of 30 plus. Lets hope the summer returns soon.
