Her husband who was English & always serving behind the bar on my many, many visits often with Peter Carbutt, was unfortunately an Alcoholic! He & the premises went into a nosedive of a decline! She left returning to the States with their child. Happy & sad memories indeed🤔 The location is Caunsall as correctly identified by Moira but it’s definitely NOT the Anchor which still is just down the road! They’re both on right hand side of the road going in the direction of Cookley.
