Mrs DAVIES
Met a man a Mercian today whose wife stitches a lycra patch on the worn bit inside the shorts. I might try this. Cant have a pair of shorts only lasting a summer.

TonyS
Depends how long it is. Anyway, it absorbs the stuff wot otherwise runs down and rots the lycra and creates saddle rash.

DaveM
Wriggle are now stocking a new type of shorts made by the well known brand HOSSASS The shorts are electronically linked to your Garmin or I phone They have an app that gives you astronomical data enabling you to forecast The next Full Moon Sunrise (so you can train with the crack of dawn) and Track the planets ( you will be first to see Uranus) Don't be too concerned about not getting a pair. I phoned Wriggle and the said they have piles.
TonyS
Dave, I lycra view Uranus through the camera obscura rather than a telescope.
Lancashire Lad
I had a close up view of Uranus yesterday until Ken sprinted past me in spite of his bad back, to get a better view. You could even see the outline of a ravine, which indicates the presence of running water. Do we have any Astronomic / Geological experts in the club who could take a closer look and verify the facts.
TonyS
Did you get a close enough view to see the Moons?
Lancashire Lad
Yes very clearly and the light reflections gave a clear view of the sister planet Hranus in the distance.
