Moira Posted January 6, 2019 Report Share Posted January 6, 2019 Well the promise of a barmy 8 degrees brought 12 out amazing the most we've had out since last summer. John had a route planned but Ken and I were on the front keeping it steady and those fast boys off the front so we decided to ignore John's shouts from the back and make a route up as we went the main aim being to miss any big up hills ( no guessing who's idea that was ). On arriving at Broadacres Mr Kent was already there tucking into a full English breakfast and then Alan P arrived after putting a loop in from home he managed a full 8.5 miles to get there !!! As we were all tucking into our nice food Ivor arrived so a full house . On leaving the sun was out and it had warmed up so a very pleasant ride home. Alan feeling guilty for his lack of miles came back our way and said he was going home via Redditch. Todays riders were John S ,Chris Tompson , Kevin Young , Tim B (who is going very well after his knee surgery ) Phil Carbutt , Ken H , Chris K , Leigh F , Ivor , Roger Bick , Alan P and me . A few photos below . A very smiley Mr Shelly who obviously hasn't shaved for a few days. The question is where is Roger's hand that we can't see !!! Is it working Leigh !!!
