Club Run 6th August ??

It didn't rain today, what a blessing after yesterday, Ann and I were marshalling the club's open 10, we had rain, hale, thunder and lightning, we were absolutely shocked.

Anyway back to today, it wasn't a bad day after all that. Five of us started from the Forest, and then we met another five at the cafe.

So, let me think, today's riders were.

Moira B.

Tim B.

Dave S.

Mick H.

John S.

Pete C.

Chris Poole

Sam ?   (Chris Poole's grandson, he is thirteen and very strong)

Alan P.

Chris P.

Managed to make Blackminster before the early arrivals departed.

With Moira's help got a few pictures before we left.

Chris Poole's grandson 13 don't know what they've been feeding him on. Reminds me of

Chris Kent's Jack when he used to come out.

At approximately 14.45hrs whilst gardening in Station Road, Blackwell I saw Moira on her return!

She looked absolutely "stuffed" & said as much or words to that effect that are unrepeatable!

She was very much on her own; so much for the duty of care responsibility of the 'B's to their young ladies!

The 'C's would be much kinder to you  Moira! You'd be welcome any time! ????????????????

Good one Dave and thanks Chris for the kind offer yes I was very tired the last few miles were hard but to reassure you I was only on my own for the last 5 miles once John left me at TB as he had kindly waited for me as I was dying on the up hills no surprise there and I had encouraged the rest to push on as don't like holding them up .
