Saracen RC Administrator
Meeting as usual at the car park of the forest pub. Lickey End for a 9:30 departure. The proposed cafe destination this week is Upton upon Severn.

Sean Barker
Just go easy on me. I'll be feeling today's Audax in my legs
DaveM
No problem. The animal is having a day off so we can cruise it.
Sean Barker
Wow that was tough for me today. 80 miles door to door and the day after a 200km Audax to boot. As usual a great day with good company, good conversation, a good laugh and good weather, what more could you possibly ask for? Myself, Chris Kent, John Shelly, Dave Mitchell and Kevin Young made our way to the Marina Cafe in Upton upon Severn where we were joined by Mick Hazlewood who had just completed his duathalon and taken 2nd place in his age group. Thanks for nursing me around today guys.
AlanW
Nice little group you had there this morning I noted as we passed each other at the top of Priest Bridge or was it Flying Horse Lane?
DaveM
Good to see you Alan. I think it was Priest Bridge. We were few in numbers today due to sickness and holidays (just like being back at work). A gentleman's pace to Upton-on-Severn picking up Mike H on the way, who had competed in the Peopleton Duathlon earlier. Glad to find that the Marina Cafe has re-opened under new management. Very cyclist friendly with great service and top rate food. No doubt we will be returning to this establishment many more times in the coming months. Great day. Thanks guys and well done Mike. Fantastic start to your racing season. P.S. Today's obligatory puncture was supplied by John S.
