We have organised a talk to raise funds for our local church rebuilding project in Dorridge, Solihull. The topic is on the Tour de France & about a team of amateur cyclists who completed the whole Tour one day ahead of the professional Tour de France in 2015.I have put the press release below.   In 2015 Stephen Jones was one of the riders who completed the Tour de France One Day Ahead Challenge with former England Footballer Geoff Thomas. Stephen cycled all 21 stages of the Tour de France with ten other riders just 24 hours ahead of the professional peloton and in so doing they raised c.£1m for Birmingham Charity Cure Leukaemia. You can hear Stephen’s story on this incredible challenge and be one of the first to see the promotional trailer for the Geoff Thomas/Lance Armstrong documentary that was filmed during the event.
