Ed Hazlewood
Can you all look in your sheds, garages, lofts or where ever you may keep your bits and pieces. This household is now desperate for stabilisers. As you may have guessed, Mike has come off again today whilst in a road race! He is ok by the way, but re opened a few healed wounds as he fell on same side! I thought there was something up as he came into the house very sheepishly! So he is now watching the tour nursing a few grazed wounds and a sore side. So dig deep, move a few boxes, bits of wood or even the Xmas decorations, this is now a serious situation as he won't be allowed out until some appear. So it's up to you, I leave this task in your hands. Of course if any other suggestions come to light please let me know. Cheers ed x.
Sean Barker
That post did make me chuckle. But on a slightly more serious side, is he OK and how did it happen?
Mick Hazlewood
Easy really, forty + lycra clad geriatrics 3 miles before the finish in a road race all thinking they are Mark Cavendish positioning themselves for a sprint and it's a recipe for disaster. Thought I would say it before someone else did. Injuries; a few bits of skin missing in the usual places and a couple of sore ribs which only hurt when I laugh!!. SO DON'T MAKE ME. New kit appears to have stood up to the test.
stumpy
Well at least you should get a finish in your next one (third time lucky and all that) tough luck Mick, the next one has to be a good placing.
