I was chatting to my old friends at Bromsgrove Olympique .But don't worry I ignored their pleas and will be remaining with Saracen!!! Enjoyable ride good venue.

Freudian slip I'm much better at sinning than spinning. Went to a spinning class at the Gym .Unfortunately the only bikes free were at the front and I had hoped to hide at the back not under the gaze of people who could do it . There is a special place for spinning in cycling ....its called HELL . No back wheels to follow ,no downhills to glide down and I never thought I'd say this but no wind in your face.In fact no following wind either. Sorry to say I wore a Saracen top , If asked you can always say I must have bought the top second hand ...you won't be lying I did!

If only you had eaten more chips I'd have been around in a flash.

Never been a morning person , Got up latish 9.00am this Sunday got my cycling kit on and then decided to charge my Kindle that I had used last night before going to sleep. I knew I had put it by the side of the bed before going to sleep. But,couldn't find it anywhere . Moved the bed over wasn't there .Searched the house no t to be found ,. Sent Lynda to check the house . No good . Had another go to no avail. Decided to look again after my ride . Put my mobile into my back cycling shirt pocket where low and behold I'd put my Kindle . It had followed me around the house in my searching. Must have put it there in place of my mobile !!! Please feel free to record your own Senior Moments .But , be aware if you beat mine you may find an enforced house move to an expensive care home.

Just cycled from the Chalet to the top of Rose Hill. When I say just cycled I mean just about cycled over Rose Hill. Cannot think why I did as I was tired out by the climb previous to Rose Hill. To be kind to myself I could blame the boredom of lock down .But,really I think it was a serious character fault . Hey Ho didn't Frederick Nietzsche say something like if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger ....load of poppycock (polite expression not what I was thinking)

Went to Defford today overtook 2 old uns felt good until someone went past me so fast I thought I was in reverse . Bumped into Alan and Chris near their home also on the way to Defford ,different route. When I got to cafe ordered a take away tea and scone but only had cash .Don't carry Debit card as when I next go for petrol it's a bit embarrassing explaining your card is in your cycling purse! Because I have an honest face or because they remember me from Tuesdays they accepted future payment . As it happened Alan reimbursed them and I him when he arrived . Returned home alone with a welcome breeze on my back just in time for the roast.

Still having withdrawal symptoms .Still get the urge to click onto club runs to see what Mr. Shelley has in store for Sunday . Happy days which I hope will reappear again before too long.
