DaveM
Before anything else - the thank you's. Whoever is responsible for the weather take a bow as it could not have been better. Cloudless sky, 15 degrees and no wind.Next the Saracens who turned out today and made this event a club run. Far too many to list and I can't tell you how much it means to hear the shouts of encouragement on the course from you and our friends in other clubs. Hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did......... What? Also to Ken Haddon who had kindly loaned me a set of carbon wheels again for this season making all the difference to my times.Superb effort by the team today with Phil Carbutt leading us at 4:41, ( great to see Phil with a number on again ) I followed with 5:10 and Paul Haynes was breathing down my neck with 5:18.See you all next year.
