ChrisP
Sunny last week. Sunny next week. What went wrong today. Reached Gloucester 8:00 oclock. Roads damp but as soon as we set of down it came. Except for a few bright spells turned out grey and damp all day. 170K route with 2248M of climbing. The route went out via The Forest of Dean through Cindeford, Coleford then on to Chepstow. Returning via Tintern Abbey, Monmouth (big climb of May Hill), Symonds Yat, Goodrich and Newent before returning to Gloucester. A few pictures taken on route. Misty view over Bristol Chanel. ChrisP
Now for the hard work. Last chance to refuel. Even with the bad weather a great route with lots to see. Following the River Severn after leaving the Forest of Dean on the way out. Then following the River Wye on the way back before re entering the Forest of Dean on the return. Sean Barker
Well done on a not particularly nice day. All very familiar roads to me as they are well used on the Tewksbury Audax events. Great pictures and report as usual.
